Dr. Catherine Watkins Campbell was born in West Virginia but raised in the Greater Cleveland Area. She participated in Six Year BSMD program receiving her BS degree from Kent State University and her MD degree from The Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine at the same time graduating in 1983.

She completed a Family Practice Residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio in 1986. As Medical Director of a new urgent care center in Inverness, Florida she became interested in Occupational Medicine. She moved back to Ohio and family with her husband Ron and son Tim where she worked on becoming Board Certified in Occupational Medicine and in the process obtained a Masters Degree in Public Health through the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2001.

She has extensive experience as a Certified Medical Review officer and a DOT examiner. She has extensive experience treating work related injuries and is a BWC Certified provider. She also has experience in pain management, physical rehabilitation and work place safety and injury prevention. She has maintained her Family Practice Certification over the years and has worked part time at the urgent care at Elyria Memorial Hospital over the last year and a half.

She prides herself on being creative and able to think outside the box. She tells her patients they only have to worry if she runs out of battle plans (which is not a common occurrence!).
